Cellate fully owns and promotes the patents and copyrights of the unique Cellate ExtendedEnd Fibre Steel and the Cellate PrecastSystem, which is widely regarded as the most advanced prefabricated building system in the world and has been used in the construction of thousands of different structures spanning the globe.
The two principle elements of the Cellate Precast system are the ability to economically produce extremely robust insulated large pre-engineered panels and the manufacture of the enlarged ends (EE) Steel Fibre. Both of these products coexist and were first developed as part of a concept to produce a superior building system that was a better alternative to traditional building materials and construction methods.
Cellate and BHP formed a partnership for the production and some years later the exclusive rights to use what we now know today as “Fibrecrete” also referred to as “Shotcrete” of which there are now many variants.
Cellate has a long history in delivery of construction projects around the world. With our expert experience in the development and manufacture of steel fibre technology and the development of our unique precast system, this has allowed Cellate to become a leader in the world in the delivery of turnkey projects in all fields of development and construction.

Since incorporation and patent registration of EE Fibre Steel and Fibrecrete in 1964, Cellatewent on to develop the Cellate’ Light-Weight, Fibre Steel Reinforced Pre-stressed Concrete Panels’. The company “Cellate International” was setup which became a leader in the manufacture of fibre-steel reinforced lightweight pre-cast elements, panels, floor planks, and fibre reinforced concrete.
